🤚 How the overrun protection works

Learn how Ugosign’s overrun protection works and how to manage your envelope sends without unexpected charges.

🎯 Purpose

Understand how overrun protection works and learn how to enable or disable it to control your envelope sends and avoid unwanted billing.

📝 Prerequisites

  • Have an administrator account on Ugosign.
  • Have an active subscription plan.

📍 Steps

  1. Log in to your Ugosign account.
  2. Go to the Subscription menu.
  3. In the Quotas section, find the Overrun Protection option.
  4. Enable or disable the protection as needed.

✅ Expected result

Overrun protection is enabled by default: users won’t be able to send extra envelopes once their quota is reached unless you manually disable the protection. A warning message will appear if the quota limit is hit.

💡 Good to know

  • This feature prevents any unexpected extra billing.
  • You can disable the protection anytime to allow per-envelope billing beyond your plan.
  • The price per additional envelope is displayed in your subscription details.
